Here is a fun BBQ Sauce we make in our home sometimes. Appropriately named for The Bitterroot Valley and the fact it has Root Beer in it… Try it on a burger or maybe baste it on a whole chicken and throw it on your grill! I love to butterfly the chicken and even when the outdoor grill isn’t really an option, this is good on any meat you may be roasting in the oven…See what you think.
Ingredients:

2 Cups Root Beer

1 Tbsp. Smoked Paprika

1 Tbsp. Celery Seed

1 Tbsp. Dried Thyme

1 tsp. Garlic powder

1 tsp. Cumin
- 2 Tbsp. Dried Onion Flakes
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire
- 1 1/2 Cups Ketchup
- 1/3 Cup Stone Ground Mustard
- 1 Orange (juiced)
- 2 Tbsp. Butter
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a pot and bring up to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer approximately 10-15 minutes.
