Georgia has endless places to explore year round, but we definitely find the mountains of North Georgia beckoning whenever we have a Saturday play day. Occasionally, we even sneak off Friday for lunch on the mountain, however the key to making these spontaneous day trips more stress free and relaxing is to leave before everyone else in Metro Atlanta thinks of the idea!
Based on level of service, food quality, ambiance, wine selections
and overall experience….
Here are our Favorite Wineries:
Monteluce Winery, Wolf Mountain Vineyards,
Frogtown Cellars and Three Sisters Vineyards
Recently, a plethora of wineries have been popping up on the landscape around North Georgia, especially the cute College town of Dahlonega, which has an exciting Gold Mining history. If time permits, don’t be afraid to plan a whole weekend in Dahlonega. Everyone needs a soothing escape so why not surround yourself with Art, Music, Antiques, Barbecue, Chocolate, Jewelry, Museums, Theater… So many great things to see and do around the town square!! Whether you spend the day or a couple days, be sure to swing by for a taste of the 43- Pound Possum or Fat Boy White at Three Sisters Vineyards. Cheers!
