This is a quick and simple marinade to dress up even the most basic budget friendly chicken legs! Your family will love it! Naturally, I use my Ninja to make the chopping extra fast. We all know I love my ninja…Don’t even get me started on that because it is the perfect size for marinades and such when you don’t feel like hand chopping or when you don’t want to dirty a huge food processor. Anyway, you will need these ingredients: Lemon, Garlic, FRESH GINGER, Soy Sauce, Agave Nectar, Sesame Oil, Dried Basil (or Oregano) and Sriracha Sauce.
Ingredients:
-
2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp. Fresh Chopped Ginger
- 3 Cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 Tbsp. Dried Basil or Oregano
- 1 tsp. Agave Nectar
- 1 tsp. Sriracha Sauce (1 Tbsp. if you like it spicy!)
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- Pinch of Course Salt
- Dash of Course Black Pepper
Directions:
Mix all the ingredients well and pour over your meat (this makes enough for 4 Breasts or 6 Chicken Legs). If grilling, Meat can marinate for 20 minutes to an hour in the refrigerator or you can just bake it immediately on those busy week nights when you don’t have all the time in the world. I baked these chicken legs at 350 degrees for about an hour- turning on the broiler for the last couple minutes to give them a little crispiness… They were excellent!
